AXIA Innovation has attended the 5^th Hellenic Forum 2017 Matchmaking Event that took place at the NCSR “Demokritos” Campus in Athens, Greece from 5-7 July. The Forum was organized for the 5^th consecutive year by NCSR “Demokritos” and was under the Auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aiming to act as a meeting point for Science, Technology and Innovation. During the 3 days of the Forum, world renowned speakers from all around the globe discussed global scientific developments and several parallel sessions were held each day. A group of distinguished scientists who came from the fields of Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, Environment, Energy, Biosciences, Nuclear & Particle Physics and ICT participated in the Forum, while emphasis was placed on topics of interdisciplinary research and converging technologies.

The Matchmaking Event was held on the 7^th July 2017. During the Matchmaking Event, AXIA had a chance to meet with high tech companies and scientists with vast experience who work in similar fields, to create new connections, and potentially forge research and technical collaborations in the fields of nanotechnology, energy, environment, life sciences, telecommunication and information technology. The Matchmaking Event was a unique opportunity for the participants to present and highlight their innovative solutions, technologies and products through a pre-arranged 20 minute meeting with organizations that have the potential to collaborate in commercial, research and/or technical level.
